PEELS AND RESURFACING Non Surgical & Non Invasive In New York

Dr. Diktaban performs a variety of skin perfecting peels and resurfacing treatments in his New York cosmetic surgery office. Vi Peel New York– As seen on the Dr. Oz show and NBC, the Vi Peel is highly effective skin peel with minimizes fine lines and discoloration of the skin such as: sun damage, melisma, age spots, acne spots and freckles. Dr. Diktaban applies the Vi Peel and provides you with post-peel instructions, skin protectant and SPF 55 for at-home use. Skin begins shedding its layers on the 2nd or 3rd day and will continue for 2-3 days after. Because of possible shedding of the skin post-peel, patients are advised to sunlight, waxing and hair removal lasers. The Vi Peel is “color-blind” and therefore suitable for all skin types (light skin, medium skin and dark skin).

Non Surgical Peels and Resurfacing in New York

Chemical Peels New York – A chemical solution is used to even and smooth out the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers of the dermis. Chemical peel are used mostly on the face, they can be used on the chest, neck and hands to help improve the appearance of your skin. Prolonged sun exposure, environmental factors, acne and age can be factors. Peels can help improve: Acne or acne scars, age spots, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, and skin pigmentation.

TCA Peel NY – is a type of chemical peel and the main ingredient is trichloroacetic acid. Similar to other chemical peels, the purpose is to improve the texture and the appearance of the skin to help rejuvenate the skin and even out skin tones. There are different categories of chemical peels and the TCA is the mid-grade peel. The differences between the types of the peels have to do with how deep the chemical agents penetrate the layers of the skin.

Laser Resurfacing In NYC – Palomar Icon® Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing can help diminish imperfections of the skin, effectively providing you with a fresh, even-textured and toned appearance. This laser uses fractional technology to penetrate the outer layers of skin and uncover layers not affected by wrinkles, lines, scars and discoloration. After the procedure, new layers of skin can begin healing to rebuild new skin without the imperfections that once were. These treatments vary from 15 minutes to 90 depending of the areas of the skin being treated. Dr. Diktaban can customize the depth of laser resurfacing based on the amount of correction you need and the amount of downtime you desire. Patients may be prescribed medication to use in conjunction with deep peels. Healing ointment is applied on the skin’s surface to help speed up the healing process.

Resurfacing with Radiofrequency – The Fractora technology is an advanced fractional-radio frequency treatment providing anti-aging improvements to uneven skin tones and textures for a more radiant appearance through ablation and skin resurfacing. Fractora resurfacing improves wrinkles, texture, pigments, and other skin irregularities. Patients can expect skin to be swollen and red/pink for several hours following the treatment. As with laser resurfacing, recovery times can be customized to fit into your busy lifestyle.

Peels and Laser Skin Resurfacing treatments are performed as outpatient procedures using a local anesthetic. All patients are advised to avoid direct sun exposure for extended periods following both chemical peels and laser skin resurfacing.
